To me what keeps them from selling more cars is the lack of manufacturer support for the dealers. VW lots are filled with 2004's and 2005's that the dealers can't deal on cuz VW won't back 'em up...

the beetle starts at 16k. That's pretty freaking affordable and it's not even their cheapest.
